چکیده
Context. Some HII regions that surround young stellar clusters are bordered by molecular shells appear to expand at a rate inconsistent with our current model simulations. In this study we focus on the dynamics of Sharpless 171 (including NGC 7822), which surrounds cluster Berkeley 59. Aims. We aim compare velocity pattern over shell mean radial for estimates expansion velocities different structures, and match observed properties Methods. Optical spectra 27 stars located in 59 were collected Nordic Telescope, number structures scattered entire region mapped 13 CO(1–0) Onsala Space Observatory. Results. obtained MK classes cluster’s stars. At least four O found be spectroscopic binaries, addition one triplet system. From these data obtain cluster. CO identify three expanding relative moderate (4 km s –1 ), high (12 between. The high-velocity cloudlets extend larger radius less massive than low-velocity cloudlets. performed simulation understand evolution complex. Conclusions. Our complex demonstrates individual components can explained as driven winds from members. However, relatively simple produces single component. Modelling propagation fragments through uniform interstellar medium dense detached decelerated efficiently itself. They reach greater distances retain higher shell.

Missing baryons in shells around galaxy clusters
Aims. The cluster baryon fraction is estimated from the CMB-scattering leptonic component of the intracluster medium (ICM); however, the observed cluster baryon fraction is less than the cosmic one. Understanding the origin of this discrepancy is necessary for correctly describing the structure of the ICM. Methods. We estimate the baryonic mass in the outskirts of galaxy clusters which is diffi...

Context. Twenty-six high-luminosity IRAS sources believed to be collection of stars in the early phases of high-mass star formation have been observed in the Near-IR (J, H, Ks) to characterize the clustering properties of their young stellar population and compare them with those of more evolved objects (e.g., Herbig Ae/Be stars) of comparable mass. All the observed sources possess strong conti...
متن کاملThe Photoevaporation of Discs Around Young Stars in Massive Clusters
We present models in which the photoevaporation of discs around young stars by an external ultraviolet source (as computed by Adams et al 2004) is coupled with the internal viscous evolution of the discs. These models are applied to the case of the Orion Nebula Cluster, where the presence of a strong ultraviolet field from the central OB stars, together with a detailed census of circumstellar d...
متن کاملGravitational instability of expanding shells Solution with nonlinear terms
A model of the thin shell expanding into a uniform ambient medium is developed. Density perturbations are described using equations with linear and quadratic terms, and the linear and the nonlinear solutions are compared. We follow the time evolution of the fragmentation process and separate the well defined fragments. Their mass spectrum is compared to observations and we also estimate their f...
